Introduction:
The UV Accelerated Weathering Tester reproduces the damage caused
by sunlight, rain and dew. In a matter of days or weeks, a UV UV
tester can reproduce the damage that would have occurred in the
outdoors over months or years. To simulate outdoor weathering,
accelerated UV testers expose materials to alternating cycles of UV
light and moisture at controlled heat. It uses special fluorescent
UV lamps in the UVA, UVB and UVC parts of the spectrum to simulate
the effects of natural sunlight and artificial radiation. It
simulates dew and rain with condensing humidity and/or water spray.
The UV accelerated weathering tester is currently the simplest,
most reliable and easiest to use weathering tester. With thousands
of testers in use around the world, it is the most widely used
weathering tester in the world.
